SHORT SNIPPETS FOR WRITERS

From the perspective of purpose & utility, there are two kinds of writing processes that writing can be divided into.

FREE WRITING and STRUCTURED WRITING. 

Both of these serve equal and equally significant utility in producing a wholesome piece of writing.

While Free Writing enables the writer to just put down the words and material on the paper or document, Structured Writing polishes the material into stylistic wrapping & a storystyle structure, which makes the piece equally relevant to the reader.

Free Writing is essential to exercise our mind’s capabilities like that of creativity and imagination, and it can be practiced by anyone whether they’re a writer or not, whilst Structured Writing involves the core skill of writing that writers need to learn and practice in order to become a writer in the first place.

Free writing is also known as:

• Automatic Writing
• Stream of consciousness writing
• Interior Monologue
• Morning Pages, Journaling or Brain Dump (in general terms)

Structured writing varies highly on:

• Type of Content
• Form of Writing
• Specific Technical Structure

Thereupon, it is always, always a wise thing to look within your heart, 

to not be scared of your inner darkness 

and to discover the source of all strength. 

It is only by loving and accepting your own darkness 

is that you’ll be able to love and accept others too. 

Without loving yourself, it is not only difficult, 

but it is impossible to love anyone else. 

Because there is no one else who exists except for you, for yourself.

Be brave. 

Be wild. 

Look within your heart. 

Shine your light!

EMOTIONS🎨

In the outer world, if a crocodile eats a goldfish, or if a tiger eats a deer, or if a leaf separates from the tree, or if a living organism dies,

it is sad.

But it is what is.

Life is full of heartbreaking appearances.

In the inner world too,

we all carry emotional energies which sometimes take the form of raging dinosaurs and sometimes like a sweet positive goldfish.

In the outer world,

we can’t control anyone’s destiny, their birth or death,

But here, in our inner world,

we do have an opportunity

to redirect these emotional energies

for knowing & understanding the nature of our mind.

By understanding the nature of our mind,

we shall be able to make efficient use of it

rather than being unconsciously driven by it!

FEARS👁️

Fears are the voices inside our head
which guide us about the

various possibilities we might

experience destruction, pain,

or loss in our upcoming life moments.

However, even the biggest of all fears

is but only a voice, and we are always

unattached to it. Anything can happen

to our body, and anything can happen

to our mind, but we are always unattached

and untouched to any kind of destruction.

But we must inquire this thing

with each and all of our fears,

with patience, dedication & focus.

ATTACHMENT IS SUFFERING 💫

Sages have spoken about it since centuries.
Attachment leads to suffering.
It is a cruel master, offering no pleas to its prisoners.
The very purpose of extreme attachment, is to transcend and rise beyond the attachment.
By its very nature, attachment is self-destructive.

Once a part of your emotional energy is attached to something or someone,

Then, soon enough, the attachment will begin to weaken itself through the experiences of betrayal, shattered trust and broken dreams.

This is inevitable,

because attachment is always in the realm of duality.

Heal the attachment,

learn the lesson

and set yourself free!

INSPIRATION 💙

Inspiration is a natural process that results as a consequence of heart’s desire, mind’s interest & aware repetitive practice.

 

Like letters wrapped in glass bottles & sent to a desert far away via paperboats, lanterns or floating leaves, like you start receiving responses to all these letters. These might be called as points of inspiration.

 

To look at it this way, inspiration is both random and not random a phenomenon at the same time.
