A Sweet Love Note About Life! | Neha's Notebook

Upon capturing a billion years of crazy experience in my notebooks, I am writing this sweet love note to you. I have not written it before because I have been wondering if you would even read it. It’d be useless to me if you wouldn’t ever read this note. I am writing this only and only for you after all. But at last I gathered enough insanity to express my heart out, and in case you too feel the same in your heart, you’ll surely like reading my thoughts. So let me begin by telling you how I have been feeling lately. Lately, I have been feeling that I am living in a video game, as if I am a character in some video game. I am constantly chasing some goal or milestone. But sometimes I also allow myself to relax, destress and just enjoy my life. For instance, by having a cup of hot coffee, by eating a chocolate, by taking a long walk in the park, by dancing and listening to music, by doing some fun activity that I used to do when I was not this old and grown up, activities like coloring, a...

The Meaning of Life | Podcast #25 by Neha's Notebook

Life is only as meaningful as it is meaningless. We laugh, we cry. Storing our own potions of happiness in our hearts, Blinking only when a warm salty tear rolls down our cheeks to make us pause and reflect, What this is really all about? A game, a dream, a delusion But if it is an illusion, no one can deny that it is such a magnetic illusion This world, It gravitates our emotions towards itself Its glitz and glamour, Still, there is a glitch scurrying in this glitz The scent of which, Pours through our body and mind, Like glittery molecules of chemicals streaming and swirling around in our bloodstream, Making us feel happy, hungry, melancholic or puzzled. The glitch is our shadow. We live amongst shadows and walk among shadows. Shadows, who are squirreled in the deepest recesses of our mind and who sleepwalk their way through life,  Thinking "only if"... So prefer not be a shadow. Choose to be a sparkling ball of starlight. Choose to...

Be Alive! - The Story of the Black Hole | Podcast #17 by Neha's Notebook

Once upon a time there was a gigantic black hole in the cosmic wild. The black hole knew the address of an aperture to another universe, a passageway to the Wonderland. But there was no one who the black hole could tell this address to, because whatever came near the black hole got ripped apart to particles and lost forever. The black hole could form no friendships, could not let anyone come near it. A star came near it, it got lost. A planet came near it, it got lost. Over time, the black hole became sad and embarrassed about its own gravitational power. As the sadness grew more and more, it caused stirrings in the heart of the black hole. The sadness started drawing portraits of anguish with black crayons, the wax of which was dripping with sorrow and grief, grief over an invisible feeling, a feeling of missing something, missing someone who could last forever till its lifetime. The black hole after all could hold on to nothing due to its endless deep dark abyss. The sadness of t...

Worthy Crayon, Unworthy Crayon | Podcast #15 by Neha's Notebook

Once upon a time there was a priest. He received a fatty goat from one of the merchants in the town. He was quite happy having received a healthy goat. So he was returning home, carrying this goat on his shoulders. On the way three thieves spotted him, and decided to steal the goat from him. As the priest was walking by, one of the thieves appeared in front of him and asked why he was carrying an old dog. The priest was puzzled but he said that it was a goat not an old dog. In another few minutes, the second thief appeared on his way and said why was he carrying a mad dog. The priest, again puzzled, managed to say that it was a goat not a mad dog. He was walking, wondering whether the other two men were saying the truth. Doubt had already seeped into his mind. By then the third thief appeared in front of him and said why was he carrying a beaten dog. The priest became more puzzled than ever and began to believe that one men could be wrong, two could be but not all three of them. He beg...

COLORS OF LIFE | Podcast #6 by Neha's Notebook

From jewellery bazaars slinging with festive ornaments to milk shops crowded with daily customers, from chaat-bhandaar stalls stirring with feasty people to school walls decorated with colourful paper decorations, from blue sky to green-green treetops, life, at all times, is bubbling with a panorama of colours.   These colours are not only in surface appearances but also in our thoughts and emotions. While some thoughts trigger us to feel the emotion of sorrow, some others cause us to feel the emotions like love, bliss, joy and ecstasy. Life sprouts with a magnanimous variety of bright-bright colours.   Words are colours. Food is colour. Everything has a colour attached to its appearance. In one moment, while I may feel yellow, you may feel green or blue or pink or purple. In one moment, life may turn out to be a pastel colour while in another moment it may appear like a scorching sizzling palette of hot colours.   Desire is colour. A wish is a colour. Positiv...

SOON ENOUGH | Short Poem | Neha's Notebook

Soon enough the day will end Soon enough you’ll close your eyes and, Soon enough those colourful dreams will fade away And voices around you would go still Soon enough you’ll slip in a world unknown to you And Soon enough All those lists and plans Would become piece of papers so lifeless Soon enough my friend, soon enough You’ll think Why you have been thinking so much Soon enough you’ll come To a point where You’ll feel you need to change something And go for something you’ve been longing for long enough Soon enough you’ll want to give up But soon enough you’ll have a new dream And soon enough you’ll start again And this way the life’s worries will end, soon enough Soon enough my dear, soon enough.   Nehyaneha

JOURNEY🏞️

What matters is  not the mountain of life that we scramble, but the scrambling of that mountain of life is something which does. It is not the lotteries of life which matter, its our intention with which we gamble. It is not the destination peak which matters the most, but rather, the adventures, the journey, the wildernesses, that we ramble!

ATTACHMENT IS SUFFERING 💫

Sages have spoken about it since centuries. Attachment leads to suffering. It is a cruel master, offering no pleas to its prisoners. The very purpose of extreme attachment, is to transcend and rise beyond the attachment. By its very nature, attachment is self-destructive. Once a part of your emotional energy is attached to something or someone, Then, soon enough, the attachment will begin to weaken itself through the experiences of betrayal, shattered trust and broken dreams. This is inevitable, because attachment is always in the realm of duality. Heal the attachment, learn the lesson and set yourself free!

ABANDONMENT | Poem

ABANDONMENT Once the play has finished & characters are drained for the day Life condemns us into brutal abandonment Discarding like a dirt-stained paper tray Even to breathe deems a competition Let alone love, that remains a 1000 dreams away! #MoonMystic #vssDreams #vss365 — Neha's Notebook (@Nehasnotebook) August 9, 2021

The Adventure of Life And 7 Rejuvenating Reminders For Living a Peaceful & Joy-filled Life

Life is short.   Appearing like a pocket of experiences stolen from the continuous stream of some godlike material, life is but only a glimpse.   If not just a fleeting glimpse, what is it, after all?   Like a rising wave which falls as soon as it rises, life too begins to end the moment it has begun to begin.   When we look closely into the relevance of life, we will find ourselves feeling fascinated to discover the fact that life is nothing but a journey towards death.   Our birth is nothing but a gateway we enter only to traverse this journey, a journey whose final destination, ultimately, is death.   And so, it is quite appropriate to say that life is short. Tiny as a heartbeat; only as expansive as a breath; and, only as much filled as the space of the sky with temporary clouds.   As we navigate this teeny-weeny journey of life, each one of us tends to develop and cultivate our own strategies, our own set of thoughts ...

Rise and Shine - A Poem | Neha's Notebook

When nothing appears to be in line When all you can do is to just be fine Then just be fine, and look at the silver line Soon enough, life is going to send you a sign A letter, a heartbeat, a leaf, a twine Do not worry at all, there is always the next guideline No wonder this moment feels dark and nothing seems divine, If you hold on to patience and love, everything again will align The skies know how to organize the clouds, how to filter the sunshine Just like stars, you too have a will already embedded into your design Just hold on to the beads of your breath, count one to nine Let yourself get drunk with the cups of the sacred wine Let the breezes of love travel up and down your spine Observe the rhythms. The rhythm is always unique for you and mine Walk like a warrior, keep going till you reach the forest’s hemline Fight your battles, do not let your powers confine Fight for your kingdom, till the point of a hairline Keep going till your last breat...
