CANDY TREATS | NaPoWriMo Poem #19

Imagine someone
with cotton candy cheeks
Someone, with a smile
Pleasant as a chocolate-lolly stick
Someone whose eyes
like raisins nutty brown
Whose lips like roses
that swirl into a candy town
Imagine someone with a voice
like honeyed sugarcane sweet
So when they speak to you
Your heart explodes with the feeling "Hurray! Candy treats!"
Imagine someone sweeter than a billion cookies
And a trillion desserts too
Don't think too much
'Cause this someone is none other than you!
