An
invisible shadow
lurks
like glimpses
of dusk's last sun

nimbly slips away
at a look
zips through
black of the night

flickers
atop buttery wax blobs
of drippy candles

melts softly
like
waterfalls in love
&
settles in
wound
of my heart
that
it came
