we assemble it in time
only to watch them scatter again

A meticulous composition of rhythms and sounds
A bittersweet symphony of pleasures and pains
Woo! Wheesh! Pff! Huh! Ummm! No! Yoohoo! Yay! Oh no!
This life, is an overcoming
Overcoming of yourself
Of who you thought you were, of what you thought you needed
This life, is also letting go
Letting go of what’s already gone
Letting go of what pulls you away from what is
This life, is also a becoming
The becoming of who you already are
The becoming of who you are designed to be
This life, is a process
The process of rise and fall
The process of high and low
This life, is a book
The big book of years
Years come, years go
But in the end, they leave
Stories, stories of horror and stories of romance
Stories of tragedy and stories of mystery
This life, is a dream
And as this year comes to a close
Make sure you recycle your old dream
And create new ones
It’s the time to slow down, to reflect, and release
